Where DO you get this half-baked idea that it's gotta be M$ Office or nothing? I'd far sooner go with JohnC's suggestion, and use SoftMaker's FreeOffice.
Spending the 70 a year on 365 is way cheaper than having to keep purchasing full priced packages of office.
